Advanced diagnostics, performed right here.
Advanced Diagnostic Imaging & Cardiac Services
Dr. Kanwardeep Brar has completed advanced training in veterinary abdominal ultrasound, veterinary echocardiography, and electrocardiography (ECG).
These advanced diagnostic tools allow us to evaluate many medical conditions directly within our hospital, including diseases involving the liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder, gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, and other abdominal organs, as well as heart disease and abnormal heart rhythms.
Abdominal Ultrasound
Ultrasound provides a detailed, non-invasive look at the internal organs of the abdomen and can help identify changes such as masses, inflammation, organ enlargement, urinary problems, gastrointestinal disease, and other abnormalities.
Veterinary Echocardiography
An echocardiogram is an ultrasound examination of the heart. It allows us to assess the heart chambers, valves, heart muscle, blood flow, and overall cardiac function. Echocardiography can be particularly helpful for pets with heart murmurs, coughing, breathing concerns, exercise intolerance, or suspected heart disease.
Electrocardiography (ECG)
An ECG evaluates the electrical activity and rhythm of the heart. It can help identify abnormal heart rhythms and provides additional information when investigating cardiac disease.

Specialist collaboration, built in.
We also work closely with board-certified veterinary radiologists and board-certified veterinary cardiologists. When appropriate, diagnostic images, ultrasound studies, echocardiograms, ECG findings, and other test results can be reviewed in collaboration with these specialists to help provide the most comprehensive assessment possible.
By combining advanced in-hospital diagnostics with specialist collaboration, our goal is to provide timely, thorough, and well-informed care for every patient.
